If you don’t need all the bells and whistles of Sense 2, this is a great option. Versa 3 is also worth considering. It pretty much comes with everything you’ll find on Versa 4, but as its not the latest edition you are more likely to find good discounts.

Fitbit Charge 6
Fitbit Charge 6 is one of the best fitness bands for the average person. It comes with a large AMOLED display, water-proofing, excellent 7 day battery life and a great software eco-system.
You’ll find everything you need for 24/7 activity monitoring and more. This includes some advanced health tracking functionality such as ECG and EDA for stress. Think of it as Sense 2, but in the form of an activity band. Plus, there’s built-in GPS for tracking exercise outdoors without a smartphone. There are only a handful of activity bands with built-in GPS and Charge 6 is one of them.
Outside of fitness, the Charge range comes with some smart features. These have progressed so much that they are starting to blend the line between fitness tracker and smartwatch.

Fitbit Versa Lite
Versa Lite is Fitbit’s budget-friendly take on the popular Versa line. It strips things down a little, but keeps most of what makes a Fitbit useful — especially if you’re after basic health and fitness tracking in a smartwatch form.
You still get a sleek design, swim-proof build, and all-day activity and sleep tracking. There’s heart rate monitoring, connected GPS (meaning it pulls location data from your phone), and support for a range of workout modes. While it doesn’t support on-device music storage or have Wi-Fi, it still gives you real-time stats for workouts and general health trends through the Fitbit app.
Unlike the original Versa or later models like Versa 3 or 4, the Lite Edition leaves out extras like an altimeter (so no floor climb tracking) and Fitbit Pay. There’s also no on-screen workouts or voice assistant support — features that show up on the pricier Versa models and Sense range.
That said, for many users, Versa Lite hits the right balance. It delivers reliable tracking, decent battery life (around 4 days), and Fitbit’s signature simplicity. If you’re fine using your phone for GPS and don’t need advanced stress or heart health sensors, it does the job well.
